The Arturo Project is a series of shop takeovers curated by some of the biggest bands in the country. It enables bands to curate their own store, filling it with their favourite books, films, art, technology, whilst drawing attention to the influences and inspirations they have drawn from outside sources that have formed the band.
Project type: Self Initiated
Category: Branding, Identity, Print, Web.
The brand uses a simple logo and colour scheme because of its use alongside multiple bands and brands. The bold colour creates an immediate connection with the brand, differentiating it from the bands identity and the items that they will be stocking.
The booklet provides information to customers and prospective customers as a way of educating and enticing people with the project. Detail profiles on the curating bands and their chosen artists.
The posters serve a dual purpose; advertising the event and limited edition screenprinted posters. Using the tagline “Don’t just listen...” the posters draw people in by offering them an oppurtunity that they will really want. They will also be given away with each relevant purchases. So if a customer purchases a book the accompanying poster would say “Dont just listen...read the influence behind Feel to Follow.”
The brand runs out accross all aspects of the store including the clothing labels, book wrap arounds aswell as the reciept booklet which doubles as the ticket to the free closing event.
The recipet holder acts as a device to pass on the ticket to the customer. Using the recipt holder creates the connection with the purchase and the ticket.
